PBA 2K v14.1 Released

A follow up update has been released for PBA 2K! This includes updated transactions, jersey numbers, accessories, animations, rotations and ratings!

Roster Updates

The new PBA 2K update includes all of the new 2016-2017 PBA transactions since the December 10 update, which includes updated jersey numbers for Jake Pascual of the Alaska Aces, the addition of Joshua Webb, Michael DiGregorio and Nico Elorde to the Mahindra Floodbuster and waiving of Gary David. Manny Pacquiao has also been temporarily waived from the Mahindra Floodbuster as the team is exceeding the NBA 2K14 limit of 19 players per team. All of the rotations have been updated according to their last game with some ratings and accessories also being updated. Mac Belo and Mike Tolomia's names have been corrected for all of the past rosters as well (2013 to 2016 rosters). Justin Melton's bald cyberface has also been assigned to the 2016 PBA Govs Cup roster. The courts have also been re-assigned with the PhilSports Arena being assigned to both the Alaska Aces and TNT KaTropa because they are the teams that have played the most in that arena this conference.

Future Updates

The promise of 2011-2012 PBA 2K rosters will be fulfilled as the release of the 2011-2012 PBA Philippine Cup roster nears. More Presentation Files will also be worked on for the new year, which includes new headlines and other graphics. More updated cyberfaces will also arrive in the next version of PBA 2K.

If you already have PBA 2K v14.0, you must download the PBA 2K Appdata Files v14.1 to enjoy the new additions to PBA 2K v14.1's new updates. There are no new Main Directory Files for this minor update.

Med's NBA Roster v4.4b - Follow Up Update Released

A follow up update that brings a lot of new jerseys, gear colors, updated awards & tendencies, a lot of fixes and the return of Team USA arrives!

New Jerseys, Updated Gear Colors & Returning Courts!

We add new jerseys by Aldrin2K such as the Washington Wizards "Stars & Stripes" jersey, the New York Knicks "Old School" jersey, the Miami Heat "White Tie" jersey and the return of the Golden State Warriors "Crossover" Jersey. The Cleveland Cavaliers' "All For One" and the Philadelphia 76ers Hardwood Classic floors make a return in this roster, with the addition of the new Toronto Raptors "Huskies" hardwood classic floor as extra courts! The Christmas jerseys all receive corrected gear colors according to the colors they sported in real life on Christmas day.

Awards & League History

The Playoff History, Team Records have all been corrected in the latest version of the roster. We've also completed all of the missing information on the awards, as well as updated the awards to include the last three years' additions. However, it is not possible for us to edit stats. League leaders have also been updated, as well as the All-NBA teams history.

Roster Updates & Return of Team USA

The San Antonio Spurs waive Nikolas Laprovitolla, while the Dallas Mavericks waive Jonathan Gibson and sign Pierre Jackson. Mo Williams has also been added to the Cleveland Cavaliers' lineup. All of the Team USAs from 1992 to 2016 have been re-added into the roster. The lineups for Team World & Team USA of the 2016 NBA Rising Stars Challenge (available in the Exhibition roster) have also been corrected.

Med's NBA Roster v4.4 - Christmas Update Released

Happy Holidays! Our NBA Christmas Update has arrived! This includes all of the transactions since the last update (November 4), the new Christmas jerseys, new gear color combinations for jerseys, and a rather stable working version of the roster!

Updated Transactions & Working MyCareer!

While working on a MyCareer-compatible version of the roster, I had to temporarily remove the Retiree Vaults & Overseas Vaults as well as the Team USAs for testing. While the new roster we've tested so far, we've found that it passed the 6th game of MyCareer which has been troubling our roster the past few months. All of the transactions since November 7 have been implemented, a LOT of ratings, tendencies, accessories, and animations have been changed in this update as well. Kevin Martin has been retired (removed from Free Agents) and Jonathan Gibson is the newest player added to the roster.

New Jerseys!

All of the 2016 Christmas Jerseys by Aldrin2K have been added. The proper gear colors will be implemented in a follow up update once the games have commenced. The Cleveland Cavaliers' Orange Throwback Jersey has also been added along with two color combinations for the jersey.

New Color Combinations & Other Details

We've added a LOT of new color combinations for jerseys, especially those that have debuted a white armwear & legwear combination for their home jerseys. These teams such as the Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves all have white armwear & legwear in their accessories for their home jerseys now. The Los Angeles Clippers now use their black jersey as their primary away jersey, and the Orlando Magic's sleeved jersey's collar has been corrected.

PBA 2K v14.0 Released

The new 2016-2017 PBA season starts off with the 2016-2017 PBA Oppo Philippine Cup! We add all of the new rookies, jerseys, and updates to the 2016-2017 PBA Philippine Cup roster, as well as add the new 2017 PBA Oppo Philippine Cups scoreboard.

Roster Updates

The new PBA 2K update includes all of the new 2016-2017 PBA transactions, with 25 players traded, 6 players signed, 35 players waived and 28 rookies added. Jimmy Alapag now retires and he is now included in the Free Agent Vault. Two more Free Agent Vaults (4 & 5) have been added for this year's new batch of free agents. Ratings, Rotations, Accessories, Positions, Height & Weight have also been updated for all of the rosters. With the rotations making use of the minutes distribution in the latest box scores for each team, don't be surprised if you see Calvin Abueva starting at Center in this version of the roster since the Alaska Aces have a lot of injured big men as of now and that's how their last game went. The 2016-2017 PBA Schedule has also been updated, along with the 2016 PBA Draft projection where the Special Draft is considered the first round of the PBA Draft, with the selection order 1 to 12 is based on the teams alphabetically. The 2017 PBA Oppo Philippine Cup scoreboard has also been included in the PBA 2K Logos & Scoreboards that you have to re-download for the new scoreboard as well as the new Mahindra Floodbuster logo.

Cyberface, Jersey & Court Updates

47 new cyberfaces have been added to the new PBA 2K update. The Alaska Aces, GlobalPort Batang Pier, San Miguel Beermen, Meralco Bolts, Blackwater Elite, Mahindra Enforcer, Phoenix Fuel Masters, TNT KaTropa and NLEX Road Warriors all have their new jerseys in PBA 2K v14.0. The San Miguel Beermen, Meralco Bolts and TNT KaTropa only had jersey sponsor changes with no major design changes. The Smart Araneta Coliseum's backboard color has now been updated from black to dark blue. Courts were distributed to the teams according to the number of times each team plays in each era this season.

Universal Cyberface ID List Updated

The Universal Cyberface ID List on The NLSC has just been updated and now includes the CF IDs for Med's NBA Roster, FIBA 2K, PBA 2K, and Kuroko V Slam Dunk!

Not everyone has access to RED MC for identifying cyberface IDs. While downloading RED MC is free; today, we have updated the Universal Cyberface ID List and now it includes the CF IDs for ALL of the mods, Med's NBA Roster, FIBA 2K, PBA 2K and Kuroko V Slam Dunk for NBA 2K14! This is the first time that the CF IDs for both FIBA 2K, and Kuroko V Slam Dunk have been shared to the public. For those that want to identify the CF ID for certain players, you can look up the list with CTRL + F. Med's NBA Roster v4.4 Beta Released

The long-awaited 2016-2017 NBA season update has been released! Unfortunately, with the long time we took working on the update, the amount of time for testing MyCareer mode is still insufficient. Further testing for MyCareer mode is required in order for it to be fixed. While most of the work has already been finished in order to fix MyCareer mode, the testing part is very time consuming. The new update provides us with accurate rosters for the 2016-2017 NBA season. It also adds a lot of new courts, jerseys, and other updates to the growing roster!

Updated 2016-2017 NBA Roster!

The new roster update includes ratings, positions, tendencies, accessories, rotations, animations, body types, transactions updates for the new season! All of the new players have been added to the roster and have completely accurate lineups now. Many contributors such as J-Paul have contributed to the roster for these suggestions regarding animations, body types, ratings, positions, etc. A total of 13 players have been retired (sent to the Retiree Vaults), 9 players signed to new teams, 2 players traded for each other, 32 players waived and 64 players sent to the Overseas Vaults.

New Jerseys by Aldrin2K

Aldrin2K adds new jerseys to the roster! We've now added the Memphis Grizzlies MLK50 Pride Sleeved Jersey, Orlando Magic Stars Jersey, Brooklyn Nets Latin Nights & Remix Jerseys, Toronto Raptors Huskies Throwback Jersey, and the Golden State Warriors Crossover Jersey. We also add new color combination jersey slots for the Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves by chuajefry.

Roster Structure & Format Changes

We now allow creating teams and players now for the new roster. The 1992 to 2016 Team USAs remain in the roster. The Retiree & Overseas rosters have been balanced by position, and is more playable than before. Unfortunately, MyCareer mode still is not working in this roster update. However, most of the work to make it compatible with MyCareer mode has already been done. it is the testing process that is time-consuming that did not allow it to be compatible for MyCareer mode in this version. Thus, we only consider this release a beta release as we want the next full version of Med's NBA Roster to be compatible with MyCareer mode once again. This roster has been released for those who are not interested in MyCareer mode, as not everyone plays MyCareer mode and only plays the NBA roster in Exhibition mode or Association mode. Hopefully, with further testing, the next NBA roster update will finally have MyCareer mode fixed.

We also change formats for the roster system we are using. We have dropped Meds Roster Fantasy and Meds Roster Blacktop for only Meds Roster Assoc. Meds Roster Assoc will be compatible for MyCareer in future versions, but is compatible with Association Mode, Season Mode, and Playoffs Mode. Meds Roster Assoc also makes use of real box score rotations for exhibition mode. Meds Roster Exhibition, on the other hand, has the All-Star teams unlocked for Exhibition mode, and has all players unlocked for Blacktop mode. Meds Roster Exhibition does not have injuries in the rotations, so players such as Chris Bosh, etc. can be played in exhibition mode. While both rosters can be played in exhibition mode for their different rotations, Meds Roster Exhibition cannot be used for MyCareer or Association mode.

Med's Birthday! Request for Donations!

Hey everyone, it's my birthday and as we prepare for the beta roster update that will be released in the next 24 hours, I would like to personally request for donations to celebrate my birthday!

While we keep our roster updates and other mods completely free, even going as far as not making you go through 5 second advertisements per download link just to make it convenient for you to download much faster, we haven't really received an donation in months. We don't necessarily request for donations to proceed with the updates, as we don't really have any conditions or prerequisites for users before we work on updates, so even if you don't send a donation, the beta roster update will still be released in the next 24 hours. Donations show us the appreciation for all of the hard work we've done for four years, right as we enter our fifth year of modding NBA 2K games. Since it is my birthday, there is no better occasion to show your appreciation for our works through donations than now. As for MyCareer being fixed, I am still running my final two personal tests for the roster before we release the beta in the next 24 hours. If the roster does not crash, we will be able to release the full version that is MyCareer compatible. However, if the roster persists on crashing, further modding and testing must be conducted, which is very time consuming. Thus, a beta of the roster update will be released instead, that will be compatible with Association mode, Exhibition mode, Blacktop mode, but will not be compatible with MyCareer mode.

Universal Portrait Project v4.1 Released

The Universal Portrait Project has been updated once more to include portraits for new players added to the upcoming roster update!

New Player Portraits

All new players to be added to the next NBA roster update have had portraits added to the Universal Portrait Project. The other rookies in the most recent NBA roster update that did not have portraits in the previous portrait update also receive portraits now. These players complete the rosters for the 2016-2017 NBA season, that is going through its final testing phase before it is released. You can check out the progress on the NBA roster through the Facebook page or through the NLSC development thread.

Besides the Universal Portrait Project update and the NBA roster update coming very soon, more effort will be put into finally updating the Universal CF ID List to include all cyberfaces from all mods (NBA, PBA, FIBA, KvS). However, the list may be changed in its original format from TXT (Text/Notepad) to XLS (Worksheet/Excel) format to break down the CF IDs per mod.

Universal Portrait Project v4.0 Released

The Universal Portrait Project has been updated and the rookie portraits have arrived! A few NBA players with new looks also receive portrait updates in this new version of the Universal Portrait Project!

Rookie Portraits & Player Portrait Updates

All of the rookies drafted in the first round have portraits now. While some second-rounders still don't have portraits, we will eventually complete portraits for all of them. As for the NBA players, a number of players such as Derrick Rose, Jeremy Lin, Aron Baynes, etc. receive portrait updates. Some may still not have updated portraits, if you feel as if some players need a portrait update, please do some by contacting us through the Facebook page or through the NLSC development thread.

NBA Roster Update Coming Soon - MyCareer Fixed

We noticed a few things with the roster from v4.1 onwards. There were some players that had "IsUnused" set to 1, and "IsRegular" set to 0. More importantly, the latest roster had over 170 Free Agents! The last working roster, v4.0 only had around 140 Free Agents. We feel as if we can only have 150 Free Agents in a single roster. With that said, we did some further checking on the roster and removed a total of 64 Free Agents that are currently playing or last played overseas. We also retired 11 players who should have been retired in the previous rosters, as well as removing Bryce Dejean-Jones who died this year (RIP). Because of this, we can confirm that it is not the shoes or other parts of the roster than is causing crashing.

I've added the new players without having to consume the Create-A-Player & Create-A-Team slots. That way, the user will still be able to create players and teams to their fulfillment. We might be able to see a new roster with the retro NBA teams still intact, while also having the retiree and overseas vaults just because of this. So, when is the update? Apparently, I still have a lot of work to do because I need to re-implement the vaults and make sure that the retro teams are compatible with our current animations, socks, etc. Also, teams are finally announcing the final cut for their opening night lineups. Each team can only have up to 15 players by opening night, so teams with over 15 players still need to release some of their players. Basketball Olympics in Rio Scoreboard Released for FIBA 2K

An Olympic Scoreboard for the FIBA 2K update has finally been released! A lot of scoreboard logos had to be re-made for this scoreboard, that's why it took a long time to be released. This new scoreboard, with the addition of the new scoreboard logos, greatly enhances the Olympic experience in FIBA 2K v6.0!

The Olympic Scoreboard is completely new compared to previous FIBA 2K scoreboards. Because of that, it makes use of its own Scoreboard Logos. To install the new Olympic Scoreboard, download the newly re-uploaded FIBA 2K Logos & Scoreboards and extract the files from the "Scoreboard - Basketball Olympics in Rio" folder such as the english.iff, newscorebug.iff and teamwipe.iff. Then, also extract all of the files from the "Scoreboard Logos" folder.

FIBA 2K v6.0 & Universal Portrait Project v3.9 Released

Finally, the Basketball Olympics in Rio update has arrived after months of development! Huge thanks to everyone that was involved in this big update such as Maravich, iamSamke, Dunix, Monzki15, etc. There is so much new content in this update, it's one of our best updates yet! We also update the Universal Portrait Project to include the new portraits for the newly added Olympic players!

Roster Updates

All existing teams in FIBA 2K that qualifier for the Olympics such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, France, Lithuania, Nigeria, Serbia, Spain, USA have been updated to their 2016 Olympic lineups. Not only that, but we also update the 2016 rosters for the FIBA OQT lineup for Canada and Turkey. We also add two new teams, the EuroBasket 2015 lineup for Poland and the 2016 Olympic lineup for Venezuela. Venezuela replaces Ukraine in the 2016 FIBA Olympics roster. The rotations for the teams have also been updated and as accurate as their most recent game. Coaches for both Venezuela and Poland have also been added to the roster.

Court Updates

FIBA 2K v6.0 fixes the misaligned FIBA OQT courts that were in FIBA 2K v5.1, and includes the new Rio de Janeiro court for the FIBA Olympics. All Olympic teams have Carioca Arena 1 assigned to them, while the other teams that were only in the FIBA OQT were assigned to their respective FIBA OQT arenas.

Jersey Updates

We updated the 2016 Olympic jerseys for Angola, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Francee, Japan, Lithuania, Nigeria, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Senegal, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, USA and Venezuela.

Universal Portrait Project v3.9 Update

For the newly added players for the Olympic update, we also added the portraits to the Universal Portrait Project. All of the new players and coaches have new portraits now. As for the NBA players and rookies, the NBA still hasn't publicly released their new portrait shots from Media Day, so we have to wait for those images to be publicly released before we can update the Universal Portrait Project to include the NBA rookies and new portrait updates for NBA players.

Future Updates

A follow up update for the FIBA 2K Logos & Scoreboards will arrive this weekend for the new 2016 FIBA Olympics scoreboard that will be released. There are a lot of scoreboard logos to make so it will take some time. Thus, we have to release it separately this weekend.

PBA 2K v13.3b Released

Here is our fourth follow up update for PBA 2K v13! This minor update is a roster update that contains the new updates for the 2016 PBA Governors' Cup's transactions as well as adds some new cyberface updates.

Roster Updates

The new PBA 2K update replaces Mike Singletary of the San Miguel Beermen with returning import Elijah Millsap. We also waive the GlobalPort Batang Pier's Dorian Peña and Marvin Hayes. We added Philip Paredes to the GlobalPort Batang Pier Because of the updated rotations, players such as Vic Manuel and J.C. Intal have been activated for the Alaska Aces and Phoenix Fuel Masters respectively.

Cyberface Updates

Players with new hair are updated in PBA 2K v13.3b. J.C. Intal and Vic Manuel debut their blonde look while Keala King sports his afro hair in PBA 2K v13.3b. Because of these new cyberface updates, the PBA 2K v13.3b Follow Up Pack below must be downloaded.

Bald Manu Ginobili Cyberface Released

I couldn't find a Manu Ginobili bald cyberface update so I made one myself. I'm not a cyberface modder by any means, but there are some things that I can do regarding cyberfaces. It's not that good, but since nobody has made a bald edition of Manu Ginobili's cyberface yet, I decided to share my personally updated Manu Ginobili cyberface.

This year, we saw Manu Ginobili sport a bald look during the match against USA in their USA Showcase. While sometimes, he still grows his hair like he did in the Olympics this year, I personally think Manu Ginobili's bald look is the best look for him. No, this doesn't mean I will be creating cyberface mods for the NBA roster, simply because I'm not that good at it. I also don't want to force others to download my cyberface updates because a lot of people update their cyberfaces on their own. This cyberface is a standard definition (SD) cyberface, and uses the default cyberface ID for Manu Ginobili (png0970), making it compatible with any roster that has the default cyberface ID assigned to Manu Ginobili. Thus, it is compatible with both the NBA roster, and FIBA 2K.

2017 NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans Presentation Released

The NBA has moved the 2017 All-Star Weekend from Charlotte back to New Orleans for the third time in less than ten years. The city of New Orleans, Louisiana hosted the NBA All-Star Weekend in 2008 and 2014, and will be hosting it again next year, replacing Charlotte as the hosts to the event. Because of that, we have updated the All-Star Weekend Presentation in the Downloads section.

All-Star Weekend Presentation Updated

The yearly All-Star Weekend Presentation Package we have in the Downloads section has been updated with the newest New Orleans-themed NBA All-Star Weekend logos. This updates the logos in the All-Star Weekend screen, the Three-Point Shootout, and the Slam Dunk Contest. To download this new update, please download the 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend Presentation (New Orleans) in the Downloads section of the website.

Logos Updated

The All-Star logo isn't just included in the All-Star Weekend Presentation, but is also included in the logos. Thus, the 2016-2017 NBA Logos in the Downloads section were also updated.

NBA Roster MyCareer Errors & FIBA 2K Update

Apparently, some people are still experiencing crashing with the NBA roster. While we have our suspicions on the reasons for this, we still need to confirm it before we announce anything. We will be working hard on the next update to make sure that there is no more crashing that occurs with the NBA roster. However, for the next update, we will be focusing our efforts on releasing the long overdue Olympics update for FIBA 2K. So far, we are collecting all jerseys, cyberfaces, etc. for the roster update that will include the 2016 Rio features. Some teams such as France and Serbia have different lineups from their 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament lineups so we included the players that were in the OQT lineup that were cut from the Olympic lineups to make both squads a 13-man lineup each. All updated jerseys and of course, the updated Rio court has been included in the next update.

Fixes to Common NBA 2K14 Errors

Experiencing errors in NBA 2K14? Sometimes the game crashes, sometimes the screen hangs, sometimes there are missing files and sometimes you just can't get the game to work properly. Here is a list of common NBA 2K14 errors, explanations for them, and possible fixes.

Crashing Issues

Sometimes NBA 2K14 will crash (suddenly close by itself) and there are multiple reasons behind that. Most of the time, it is due to mods that you have downloaded. Here is a list of known crashing issues, reasons for them, as well as possible solutions to solve these crashing issues.

• Crash After Booting Up NBA 2K14
• Description: The game crashes as soon as NBA 2K14 is opened.
• Reason: You may have downloaded a corrupt version of NBA 2K14, or a corrupt global for NBA 2K14.
• Solution: Re-install NBA 2K14 or download a known, working global.
• Crash After Loading Roster
• Description: The game crashes as soon as you load a roster in NBA 2K14.
• Reason: There is an error with the roster you loaded. The file you downloaded may not have been extracted properly, or these is a problem with the roster itself.
• Solution: Re-download the roster file you are using. If the problem still persists, contact the creator of the roster you downloaded.
• Crash After Game Loading Screen in Exhibition Mode
• Description: The game crashes after the loading screen for a match has finished.
• Reason: There is a corrupt cyberface belonging to one of the players on either teams playing in the match where you experienced the crashing.
• Solution: Identify the corrupted cyberface by checking the cyberface of each player on both teams individually. After identifying which cyberface is corrupt, download a different cyberface that is known to be working to replace the corrupted cyberface.
• Crash After Game Loading Screen in All Modes
• Description: The game crashes after the loading screen for a match has finished.
• Reason: You have downloaded a corrupted Tunedata file that is causing your NBA 2K14 to crash.
• Solution: Replace the corrupted Tunedata file with the default Tunedata.
• Crash a few seconds after Jump Ball
• Description: The game crashes only a few seconds after the jump ball.
• Reason: There is an error with the dornas of the stadium you are playing in.
• Solution: Use the default dornas assigned to the stadium you are playing in, or download a new dorna mod that fixes it.
• Crash after the 1st/3rd Quarter in MyCareer/Association Mode
• Description: The game crashes after either the first or third quarter in either MyCareer or Association Mode.
• Reason: You have downloaded "HD" ("high-definition") cyberfaces/jerseys that cause crashing in your NBA 2K14.
• Solution: Read this blog post. Identify the "HD" cyberface/jersey that you downloaded and replace it with an SD (standard definition) cyberface/jersey.
• Crash during simulation in MyCareer/Association Mode
• Description: The game crashes while simulating games in MyCareer or Association Mode.
• Reason: You have downloaded a corrupted custom scoreboard. Not all scoreboards work with NBA 2K14 properly.
• Solution: While it is recommended to use the default NBA 2K scoreboard because it is the best working scoreboard, you can also download other scoreboards that are known to be working and replace your current scoreboard.
• Crash during the advancement to the next NBA season
• Description: NBA 2K14 immediately exits during the advancement to the next NBA season
• Reason: Your PC cannot comply with the system requirements of NBA 2K14.
• Solution: Consider upgrading your computer. There is a rare situation where the game crashes because your computer is not compatible with it. Forcefully running the game on 32-bit computers are an example of this. Using processors or graphics cards that are not optimized for NBA 2K14 may also be the cause.

Hanging Screen Issues

Sometimes your screen will hang or freeze in NBA 2K14 and there are multiple reasons behind that. Most of the time, it is due to mods that you have downloaded. Here is a list of known hanging screen issues, reasons for them, as well as possible solutions to solve these hanging screen issues.

• Hanging Black Screen After Booting Up NBA 2K14
• Description: Only a black screen appears as soon as NBA 2K14 is opened.
• Reason: There may be issues with your internet connection.
• Solution: Try turning off your internet connection or restarting your internet connection.
• Hanging Screen During Match Loading Screen in Any Mode
• Description: The game is stuck on the loading screen for a match.
• Reason: The dorna for the home team during the match is corrupted.
• Solution: Download a corrected dorna confirmed to be working for the home team.
• Hanging Screen During Match Loading Screen for NBA All-Star Game
• Description: The game is stuck on the loading screen for the NBA All-Star Game.
• Reason: The dorna for the All-Star team during the match is outdated.
• Solution: Make sure that you have downloaded ALL of the Main Directory Files in the Downloads section of the website.
• "Exporting Timeline Data"
• Description: In MyCareer mode, the screen gets stuck at "exporting timeline data".
• Reason: Your MyCareer may have already been corrupted, which may be due to having too many files in your Saves folder
• Solution: Delete some files in your Saves folder and start a new MyCareer mode by creating a new file, instead of replacing an existing one, or delete the MyCareer save file before you save in-game in order to generate a new file.

In-Game NBA 2K14 Issues

When using downloaded mods, missing cyberfaces, jerseys, courts, or experiencing incompatible mods may be experienced if you did not follow the download instructions for the mod.

• No Head & White Arms for Players
• Description: Players have no heads and have white arms.
• Reason: You are missing cyberfaces for those players.
• Solution: Please make sure that you've downloaded all required files for the mod you are using. If you're sure you've downloaded all required files, please also make sure to have extracted the files to your NBA 2K14 Main Directory properly.
• Plain White Jerseys for Teams
• Description: All players on the team wear plain white jerseys.
• Reason: You are missing jerseys for those teams.
• Solution: Please make sure that you've downloaded all required files for the mod you are using. If you're sure you've downloaded all required files, please also make sure to have extracted the files to your NBA 2K14 Main Directory properly.
• Black Stadium/Floor for Arenas
• Description: The arena has a black floor, black stadium, or both.
• Reason: You are missing stadiums, floors, or both.
• Solution: Please make sure that you've downloaded all required files for the mod you are using. If you're sure you've downloaded all required files, please also make sure to have extracted the files to your NBA 2K14 Main Directory properly.
• Font Not Matching Scoreboard
• Description: The font for the scoreboard does not match the scoreboard.
• Reason: You have downloaded a newscorebug.iff file and did not use the accompanying english.iff file for that scoreboard.
• Solution: Download and extract the english.iff file that complements the scoreboard you downloaded. If there is no accompanying english.iff file for the scoreboard contact the scoreboard modder.
• Logo Not Matching Scoreboard
• Description: The logo for the scoreboard does not match the scoreboard.
• Reason: You have downloaded a newscorebug.iff file and did not use the accompanying logo.iff files for that scoreboard.
• Solution: Download and extract the logo.iff files that complement the scoreboard you downloaded. If there is no accompanying logo.iff files for the scoreboard contact the scoreboard modder.
• Only 1/4 of Logo is Shown in Replays
• Description: During a highlight replay, only one-fourth portion of the logo is shown.
• Reason: You have downloaded a newscorebug.iff file and did not use the accompanying teamwipe.iff file for that scoreboard.
• Solution: Download and extract the teamwipe.iff file that complements the scoreboard you downloaded. If there is no accompanying teamwipe.iff file for the scoreboard contact the scoreboard modder.
• Sleeved Jerseys Not Accurate
• Description: Sleeved jerseys are not fit to the player and look like they are floating.
• Reason: Your current Player Detail in your Options > Video Settings is set to Low.
• Solution: Set your Player Detail in Options > Video Settings to High.
• Courts/Logos/Title Screens Are Blurred
• Description: The floors of the court/logos/title screens are blurred.
• Reason: Your current Texture Detail in your Options > Video Settings is set to Low.
• Solution: Set your Texture Detail in Options > Video Settings to High.
• There is no NBA All-Star Weekend in MyCareer/Association Mode
• Description: The NBA All-Star Weekend is not available in the schedule for MyCareer or Association Mode.
• Reason: You did not use the appropriate NBA roster for MyCareer/Association Mode.
• Solution: You need to use the appropriate NBA roster designated for MyCareer & Association Mode. For more information, please read the Features section of the website.

MyCareer Issues

No mode in NBA 2K14 has more issues than MyCareer. This is the toughest area to mod for NBA 2K14 roster developers and make sure that it is working. While we do delve into this subject in detail in this blog post. Here is a list of quick fixes you can do for known MyCareer issues.

• Crashing at the start of Rookie Showcase
• Description: NBA 2K14 immediately exits as soon as the Rookie Showcase starts.
• Reason: There is a problem with your dorna800.iff & dorna800.cdf
• Solution: Make sure that your dorna800.iff and dorna800.cdf files are not corrupted.
• Stuck at the loading screen of USA Rookie Showcase
• Description: NBA 2K14 won't proceed to the game and is stuck at the loading screen.
• Reason: There is a problem with your dorna800.iff & dorna800.cdf
• Solution: Make sure that your dorna800.iff and dorna800.cdf files are not corrupted.
• MyCareer crashes after the first NBA game
• Description: NBA 2K14 immediately exits after the first NBA game.
• Reason: Your Official Online Data is not updated.
• Solution: Download the Official Online Data here and extract the files to your NBA 2K14 Main Directory.
• MyCareer crashes after the sixth NBA game
• Description: NBA 2K14 immediately exits after the sixth NBA game.

Another NBA roster update arrives! This time, we update the courts for the Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz, update the roster with the latest transactions as well. We feature major roster edits by animation director J-Paul, as well as finally fix MyCareer for real this time.

The last NBA roster update on August 31 was very big, if you haven't downloaded Med's NBA Roster v4.2 yet, check it out here. Since August 31, there have only been a few transactions. John Holland of the Boston Celtics has been waived. Steve Novak was re-signed by the Milwaukee Bucks, and Travis Wear leaves overseas for the Los Angeles Lakers. Kevin Seraphin agrees to a deal with the Indiana Pacers and the Denver Nuggets trade Joeffrey Lauvergne to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

These players don't have their contracts revealed yet so we gave all of the minimum contracts for one season. Animation director J-Paul, a major contributor to the roster, also implemented positions, jersey numbers, accessories, ratings and bio updates in the latest NBA roster update.

MyCareer Fixed

In the previous roster update (v4.2), we attempted to fix MyCareer mode's crashing. However, it still resulted in crashing after the 6th MyCareer game. Now, I re-developed the roster with a base I knew was working (v4.0), and tested the roster myself and was able to finish even the 7th game. This confirms that the MyCareer crashing in the previous roster no longer occurs in the latest roster update (v4.3). Now that MyCareer has been confirmed to be working for v4.3. If you are still experiencing crashing with the NBA roster, it is most likely due to other mods you have installed in your NBA 2K14. A blog post addressing all common issues with NBA 2K14 will be posted soon to provide you with all the information you need.

New Raptors Jersey & Cavaliers Color Combinations

A strongly requested color combination for the Toronto Raptors' Back in Black (Drake) jersey to have black accessories, socks and shoes has been added to the latest roster update.

New 2016-2017 Courts for Sacramento & Utah!

This is the first time we've included court updates in Main Directory Files for the NBA roster. Previously, we did not update courts because courts were updated separately. However, since the addition of the 30-team court pack to our Downloads section, this allowed us to keep updating courts for future seasons. The 2016-2017 versions of the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and Vivint Smart Home Arena in Utah floors are included in this new update. Because the previous Main Director Files 23 pack was only 30 MB in size, we re-uploaded the pack to include these two new jerseys, now making it 40 MB in size. So, to if you've downloaded Med's NBA Roster v4.2, you still need to re-download Main Directory Files 23 and, of course, download the latest Appdata Files. If you didn't download v4.2 and you are jumping right to v4.3 from v4.1, just download the latest Appdata Files and Main Directory Files 23.

For downloading from v4.1/v4.2 to v4.3, all you need to do is download the updated Appdata Files and the brand new (re-uploaded) Main Directory Files 23. We now provide a ZippyShare mirror for the Appdata Files so that there are more options for you when downloading the Appdata Files. Enjoy!
